Realtime Technologies to Exhibit at Driving Assessment Conference

Royal Oak, Michigan – May 10, 2013 -- Realtime Technologies, Inc. (RTI) announced today it will be an exhibitor at the Driving Assessment Conference on June 17-20, 2013, in Bolton Landing, New York at The Sagamore Resort on Lake George.  This event is planned to provide attendees an opportunity to showcase driving assessment tools, applications, and technologies.

Realtime Technologies, Inc. (RTI) will demonstrate updated scenarios that allow simulator-based evaluations of new driver interface systems.  This implementation is based on RTI’s interpretation of the updated National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Driver Distraction Guidelines.  RTI provides a database as described in the guidelines as well as the lead vehicle following task.  RTI has done integration with Seeing Machines, FaceLAB eye-tracker and SmartEye eye-tracker to support the eye-glance measure described in the NHTSA guidelines.

RTI will also show its latest generation of products using a geo-specific database of the city of Toronto.  RTI will highlight updates made to its OpenDRIVE capability, latest IG solution (Fusion), ExACCT GUI, and Maneuver Designer on a three channel open-cockpit single seat simulator.

RTI’s ExACCT GUI is a graphical user interface designed to create, control and monitor SimCreator simulations by allowing users to observe and modify the current state of the simulation through graphical displays and detailed data views.  Experiments can be developed while connected to a driving simulator or off-line. Users can create scenarios by combining different maneuvers into traffic situations. While the ExACCT GUI is connected to a simulator the experimenter can trigger maneuvers in real-time using the direct activation window. The ExACCT GUI will be available to customers as an upgrade in 2014.

RTI will also showcase their SimDriver product that allows researchers to automate the driving task for the study of autonomous driving.  SimDriver has been implemented using JavaScript so researches can modify the parameters using their existing skill set with the scenario programming.  SimDriver is now available for purchase.

Realtime Technolgoies, Inc (RTI) will host its user group meeting after the last conference session on June 20th.
